Soweto Art & Craft Fair

Soweto Art & Craft Fair

Happening every first Saturday of the month, Soweto Art and Craft Fair has become one of South Africa’s best Art Markets attracting visitors from all over South Africa, Africa and indeed the world.

Home to different brands selling Art, Fashion, Crafts, Food, Accessories and more. The purpose of this Market is to encourage entrepreneurship within the Creative sector. It is also meant to increase awareness of local brands as well as the importance of supporting local businesses.

The Market is also known for providing scintillating Live Performances and this month is no different with a hugely talented line up headlined by one of South Africa’s favorite wordsmiths, the one and only Makhafula Vilakazi. He will be joined by Live Bands in the form of TUG, Undefined Band, DrainBrain, Family and a host of Jozi FM’s Dj’s as we help them celebrate their 23rd Birthday.

Tickets for the Market are R50 at sowetotheratre.com or at the door. Kids under the age of 12 are free. Coolerbox or any alcohol from outside the venue is R50 to get in. Food and Drinks will be sold at the venue.

Come and experience one of the best markets in the continent and see why six years later, Soweto Art and Craft Fair has become one of Soweto’s favorite experiences.
