Chigozie Obioma’s debut novel, The Fishermen, which was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize in 2015, will be directed for the stage by James Ngcobo in what will certainly go down as one of this year’s most compelling and supreme pieces of theatre.

Basha Uhuru: 25 Years of Creative Freedom

The Basha Uhuru Freedom Festival not only showcases art, design, film, poetry and music, but it also provides inspirational workshops and entrepreneurial support programmes for young creatives. The exciting programme kicks off with art and talks on Thursday and carries on with a film and poetry programme till Saturdays music finale.

Shimza’s One Man Show: SOWETO EDITION!

Shimza is known for hosting some of the biggest events in Mzansi and getting the rest of the world dancing. The Tembis native will be returning for his One Man Show: Soweto Edition which promises to be an exuberant journey! The One Man Show: Soweto Edition will take place at Zone 6 Venue in Soweto on Saturday, 29 June 2019.
