Cecil John Rhodes: British Empire Hitman

The desire for freedom in all its manifestations has always been at the heart of jazz, which has always pushed against any limitations, be it the chord changes, predetermined tempos, or melodies.

We are interested here in the Phoenix massacre in which Indians brutally murdered many Africans in Kwa-Zulu Natal during the civil unrest in July 2021. Indians took the law into their own hands by murdering Africans. Africans have not received justice to this day. The blacks of Biko’s Black Consciousness movement killed their fellow blacks.

What I like about Robert Hodgins is the fact that he’s critiquing imperialism in these rich, fat cats. It shows that calling things out is not only part of a Black woman’s identity.

The show was nothing short of captivating, and kept the audience on the edges of their seats. The singers doubled as guides to the central character of Zukiswa, and as the men at the tavern. This was an innovative use of the cast, by the director.

Recently the so-called Economic Freedom Fighters under their leader Julius Malema celebrated this incorrect ideology and were even significantly joined by one prominent subscriber within the African National Congress.
