Pilani Bubu is never without a lived experience etched into her heart and mind. Thesis ZA's music has traces of neo soul, R&B, Afro soul and jazz.
Up next at the Bassline Live at the Lyric Theatre Series, in association with BET, is ZOË MODIGA, the multitalented award-winning singer, songwriter, performer, collaborator and ultimate storyteller.

In this undertaking, Dana seeks to offer her audience a new experiential journey as she weaves her message through a story being told through the acapella roots of her music and the spiritual call there is in it.
The new album is a companion piece to the larger cultural memory work of Somi's original play, Dreaming Zenzile, which is based on the life of Miriam Makeba and will open Off-Broadway in New York City in June 2022 after touring across theaters in United States since Fall 2021.
