Kweli returns to town for the biggest Hip Hop festival in Africa, Back to The City, but before the big night he'll curate a special set called Basement. This exhibition dives deep into his musical collection, displaying music from around the world.
He is no stranger to South Africa, whether as part of the legendary duo Black Star with Brooklyn Mc Mos Def or as a solo artist with notable collaborations with producers like Kanye, Just Blaze, and Pharrell.
Kweli also spent a lot of time collecting and playing music, spanning genres and eras with ease. There's always something special about Talib on the Ones and Twos.
